Until 2007 the Central Cooperative Union was publishing Cooperative newspaper as an addendum to Zemya newspaper, which is the successor of Cooperative Village newspaper and continued the policy of Cooperator and Bulgarian Cooperative newspapers. The cooperative idea has been reaching a very broad readers' audience through these papers for years.

In 2007 the Management Board of CCU made a decision to incorporate advertising – publishing company COOP MEDIA OOD, which unites the efforts of Euromedia OOD, CCU and 18 cooperative unions for the publication of the two newspapers. As of 2 April 2007 Cooperative is published in a new format and it is now part of the National Cooperative Daily Zemya.
